From all of us here at DealBreaker to all of you, congratulations!

That sounds about right.

We couldn't be happier for you. .

Best,
Team DealBreaker.

PS: And, of course, I claim credit for establishing the credibility of your little movies about stocks with my early appearances. --JC

CBS is doing really well because they get it and play the numbers like a good baseball coach--based on percentages and averages. Others think that bringing TV content to the web is the winning formula and it is not. The web requires its own content and format and Wallstreet is a case in point. The web is also the new farm system to develope future stars that might cross over to TV at a relatively low price along with their fans. Why go out there and pay millions for a second-rate star when you can get the stars of the future for much less? Lindsay is going to be a big star thanks to Wallstrip and Howard is a new kind of media mogul--a more nimble version of course.

[...] The rumors were true, CBS has acquired web stock show Wallstrip for $5 million. I think this is the first acquisition of a web show by a major media company. If not, it’s certainly the largest. It raises an interesting question as well… as “new media” grows at the intersection of tech (the valley) and media (new york), which will be the center of the new media world? My prediction is New York, but if you believe differently, I’d love to know why. Share and Enjoy: These icons link to social bookmarking sites where readers can share and discover new web pages. [...]
