What I find hysterical about Lewis’ column is that he is so unabashedly out of touch with reality that he doesn’t realize how much of a self-important and elitist pig he is. I can’t help but to wonder if his piece was some sort of bad satire. I laughed out loud when in one breath he whines about his “torpedoed portfolio” and then blames it on the “poor”. Last I checked, 2/28's, liar loans, MBS, CDO were developed by what he would deem as the rich. He forgets that investors, like himself, always get what they DESERVE, not what they want.

Before Lewis picks on the 98% of Americans who would not be eligible to invest in his hedge fund – the so called poor -- he ought to look closely at what he flushes down the toilet every morning to realize he’s no better than anyone else.

One thing's for sure, he's got more money than brains and class.

That's some brutal shit Howard. Sadly I can't really disagree. Fly touches on an important point--you can't turn your back on children...everyone else is game. I buy into his philosophy.

A one bedroom apartment in Brooklyn costs about 400-500K. This isn't where the poor people are going to move.
