Optimists Get a day of Relief

Poor Meghan.
I was barking out orders from the hockey bench through my helmet for her to enter at Interactive Brokers. I definitely was not planning to do anything.
Lot’s was lost in the translation now that I am looking at my account.
I bought SPY at $128, Google down $50 (twittered it) and a pile of First Solar and MOS right near the lows. Letting go my Apple at $138 on the open and seeing in at $128 somehow emboldened me.
I kicked out the SPY and Google near the close but Meghan actually oversold my SPY and doubled down on my Google so I was short SPY and extra long Google by the close. Interactive Brokers liquidated my SPY though so not too much damage on a great day. If Google could gap up 20 tomorrow, she may get a raise.
Holding Google, WFR, First Solar and MOS as a proxy for a continuing rally. It could end overnight.
There is no leadership but as I said in my last post, the financials had crashed and a 10 percent rally is not out of the question. I am using the highest relative strength leaders as a proxy as I always do. Firthermore, when Phil sent me that E-Trade stat in the middle of the day about logins, you knew we were close to a big rally. Ifyou are not following Phil and Andy on twitter, you are crazy.
Hockey was a freaking blast today. For Canadians, playing hockey with your buddies at one of the mecca arena’s – Montreal Bell Center – is heaven. No goals, but I set up one and had a few chances. One more day of hockey and than finally home after two weeks on the road. My longest time away since my kids were born. I miss them and Ellen.
Hope you caught some relief today, but don’t expect too much.
