Options Backdating on Naked Putz

My good friend and twice yearly golf buddy Lawrence Sucharow of Labaton, Sucharow in New York, is my go to man on all issues related to securities shennanigans. He also was a founding investor in Wallstrip.

Options backdating, despite what Fake Steve Jobs say, is a serious, serious crime. Just because everyone did it and the accountants started looking the other way, does not make it legal.

It chips away at trust and robs the common shareholder.

A few weeks ago Lawrence hooked me up with one of his young guns, Chris Keller, to chat about the backdating disease and crime. Chris put a whoopass on Mercury Interactive and has their sites set on Countrywide in the Mortgage Scandal. I will be checking back with them often as this mess truly unwinds and unfolds.
