Where is the Strength?

My friend Eric at Blackstar sent over their list of the 25 strongest stocks in the market.

I own one – SYNA.

I suspect I will add 4-5 more here once I get through the list. Some Wallstrip candidates as well.

Which ones would be best and why?

My pick would be MHS making highs -close to a breakout--generic drugs are going to be the norm when democrats come in--safe play even otherwise--they are on a buying spree too.

blew it on sigm selling in low 30's. amazing run for a chip company

"No wonder you trend traders need pepto bismol."

Buying stocks at new all time highs has been the least stressful trading activity I've ever participated in. The upside is unlimited and the downside contained with a stop; buy it, use a stop, honor the stop; repeat.
  • sigm ripping on the number
  • Synaptics is a good play Howard!
  • China Southern Airlines? Jesus! Talk about a land mind. No wonder you trend traders need pepto bismol. The rest are overprized although some like PolyMedica Corp I would consider buying if it was cheaper.
  • PLMD got bought out yesterday.

    FTK rocks.

The stock is a double, easy, providing the oil business stay healthy.

You can strike KEYS, KYPH and HLT from the list as they are in mergers...
