Wallstrip – a great first day

It was better than I could have hoped for and most things ran smooth. Lot’s of great suggestions.

The most interesting to me is adding an ESPN PTI format – with a bear. We have invited a few perma bears but they just won’t come public.

The coolest PR piece for us was written by Paul Allen who Lindsay worked for briefly in the 90’s.

The deepest was my friend Bill at NoDoodahs (not a contributor or paid) he just “GETS ME” (we are not dating and have not watched Jerry McGuire together).

All in all, great traffic and 120 plus links the first day. I don’t hold any weight for Technorati and don’t have a clue how it works, but Wallstrip passed this blog in ranking (by 90,000 spots) in the first day , so that can’t be bad (for Wallstrip).

Thanks for the comments. I have some great ideas from both the good and bad to add some improvements which will be seen right away.

Technorati is bragging rights so far as i can tell – I’ve certainly never gotten traffic from it so it’s no good for that. So watching Jerry macGuire with you is equivalent to dating? Hmmm, must file that away for potential future reference.
