I was looking back through the archives of shows tonight and I am feeling pretty good. The shows are great and the stocks are doing really well save Smith and Wesson and Electronic Arts. Ouch on both. The big winners are Toyota, Altria, Garmin, Rimm, Crocs and Apple. Since we started the show in mid October, the markets have been real strong – that always helps. That said, I firmly believe that timing the market is not worth the effort and you are always best off buying the strongest stocks and being diversified.

Please remember that money management rules the day and that’s where the links, blogroll and Wallstrip blog come into play.

Portfolio’s need to be pruned.

In that vein, today we revisit Harley-Davidson. It is one of the great American Brands of all time. I have no position in the stock. Here are all my posts on Harley. Not bad :) .

I say the stock market has been digesting this news for a while and likes what it has to swallow.

I will take his nerdy word for it and his 37 minute podcast with fellow geeks and nerds and the links and comments to the post.

I am going to listen to the podcast tonight and see if that can help cure my sleeping problem. It is cheaper than an ambien.

All the talk of Adobe and Apollo can’t replace my favorite Wallstrip character – “FLASH” :) .

In honor of the CODE RED status being averted – here is “THE” scene – in flash :)

It is a great interview with a talented man who got to trade in the house of Cramer/Berkowitz. No juicy stories unfortunately from the day!

Over to the market, my Nasdaq four horsemen (RIMM, AAPL, ADBE, GOOG) have been hammered the last few days, albeit from extremely lofty levels. It has been a while since I noticed them all moving down like this.

Adobe is absolutely the weakest of my “horsemen” and did not hold it’s all-time high breakout from a few weeks back. It is on CODE RED (double secret probation), but I am doing nothing with my position.

On the bright side, no weakness for one of my faves Akamai. Nothing stops this stock. I own a little still and every time I get tired of looking at it and think about selling it, it climbs back and hits 52 week highs – today included. The life time chart of this stock is – in the words of Blair – STAGGERING!.

It was worthy of one of my fave Wallstrip shows despite it not being near an all-time high.

No way it’s possible to financially value this stock at $53, but that’s Wall Street.

UPDATE – 7-10 – Cisco, Microsoft, Yahoo, Amazon, Sun Microsystems etc..have made hundreds of good acquisitions that they have either sat on, screwed up or not integrated in a way that gets them noticed here. So I dedicate the last four to all the great internet businesses that were acquired and never heard from again once they went into the bowels of The Nasdaq’s last leaders.

Ashkan at WatchMojo just blogged his 10 best Internet Acquisitions of All Time . I agree with most of them.

Eddie from The Rad Report offers a new one that I am considering which is Akamai buying Speedera.

I am watching Apple, Google, Adobe and RIMM. They are my four Nasdaq horsemen. If they hold their all-time high breakouts, I am not on CODE RED. I am keeping it simple.

I am uncomfortable – that’s good.

I am expecting to get shellacked – that’s good.

December is always great – that’s good (I think :) )

I am not excited – that’s good.

I am taking partial profits on stocks that are moving too fast too high (empirical only) like CROX and RIMM – don’t know if that’s good or bad, but I don’t look back anymore. A profit is a profit.

I am adding fresh breakouts.

I am adding some Wipro (WIT) to my account at the next available open. I have owned a little for a while and rode it down during the India swoon this summer but was not stopped out. Today it busted out to an all-time high. The India closed end fund is still 20 percent plus below all-time highs. I like that relative strength.

My faves (everybody has favorites):

Apple – always
Adobe – lookin’ good with flash
Malyasia (EWM) – no good reason :) but I have been here for a while and she is starting to work nice.
Rentrak (RENT) – my fave chart. The pricks at headquarters are denying Lindsay an interview for Wallstrip. That’s a big negative.
Wipro (WIT) – a little volume and this becomes my fave chart
Bidu – pure aggression
Chipotle’s – all-time favorite restaurant. Lines getting bigger. I have a big profit but am staying!
Valueclick – No one can explain to me in english what they do. I like that :) .
SIGM – Great chart and Industry leader in living room CHIPS, BUT a component play so one foot out the door always.

My longshot busted stock that I still own is Navteq (NVT – GPS industry)

My next year stories – Gold and Oil. Sounds smart and safe.

Let’s throw in a little BIDU from that teeny Asian county CHINA! I did a few days ago at 101.

Those are the stocks to watch.

If Intel, Microsoft and Dell are on your screen – buy LUCENT :) .

This is not a market for thinkers. They are buried, steamrolled and puckered out.

TraderTim – poor SHORT bastard threw in the towel today.

This whole bull shebang could end tomorrow. I have NO OPINION. Just following prices. It’s one of those rare periods where the “idiots” are in control (according to the “smart” people).

One thing is obvious. There are a lot more “idiots” than “smart” people.

LONG – Apple, Rimm, Bidu, Adobe and no sane reason why I don’t own Google. Wallstrip does :) .

Today it reached an all-time high.

I am adding some more.

Here is the thing. Negativity is real high on Adobe – especially about Adobe starting to charge for Flash. BUT – why worry about something you can’t control. The price says otherwise. I am siding with the price, as I almost always do.

NOTE – Any disappintment here or with any stocks in this market will be severely punished.

DOUBLE NOTE – This market is way too easy right now. That never lasts.
