Rocketboom goes dark? If you are not a nerd or BlogEntrepreneur – YAWN!

The nerds in my blogroll have lost their queen nerd today. Oh it is already like little school girls at TechMeme, except they are grown men with laptops, crooning over a lame Queen. Go read all the links if you would like to bore yourself. I did so trust me – don’t!

If you are entering the business of blogging take this as a great lesson.

Unless it is a BAD hoax for creating more buzz, Amanada and Andrew never PLANNED ON SUCCESS. That is how new this industry of blogging is – everyone expects to putter along.

It is exciting to have a low cost internet homerun as Rocketboom seemed to have, but the dark side is – what real value is there in the blogosphere? It is unlikely the domain, but the editors and talent behind the scene.

I think they call it “The Bus Test” in the business world. If the owner steps in front of a bus – what happens? Amanada has a window of opportunity. Rocketboom’s window is shutting as you read this…

I am calling Blair right now and buying keyman on his lending business!

UPDATE – The nerds think she is a hot commodity because of her alexa ranking. Proof of the echo chamber. This woman is not very talented. She has no interview or acting skills, just vlogging skills. A great timer if you will. The networks are more than 3 minute videoblogs and that would be a disaster for everyone but her.
