Salesforce.com (CRM)…Nasdaq's New Leader?

Trick question as it’s a NYSE listing at CRM. But it is on fuego and not just from acquisition talks.

We all need leaders and the tech world has it’s new leader for the time being. Good choice. There have been acquisition rumors forever by Oracle and they should have pulled the trigger. It is an unstoppable virus of sales goodness and it’s open so everybody is developing for it.

They have had a partnership with Google and now it’s being speculated that Google will deepen its relationship . Makes sense for all the online Google Apps invcluding Google Docs.

Another stake in Microsoft’s heart for sure by Google. i don’t think they need to buy them and would prefer to see Salesforce.com independent. If it stays independent, the stock will be much higher in the next bull market and if it gets a bid, a war could start.

It is for sure my most blogged stock that I have not owned and it sickens me. I have been close so many times on the many vicious pullbacks. The fact that I have never used the product and only heard raves from users has cost me money. Can you just sign up as a single user? Bueller?…..
