StockTwits TV: Interview with James D Robinson @jdrive

I sat down with James D. Robinson of RRE Ventures (@jdrive on Twitter).  Through RRE, he has made investments in companies such as Adaptive Blue (Glue), betaworks, and drop.io, to name a few.  It was great to chat with him about investing strategy and process as well as some of the areas where he sees disruption occurring in the future.

    I went to hunch.com My advice to the founder: don't quit your dayjob..lol
    some bad .... think of all the months and $ wasted coding & promoting it. In a couple years I would not be surprised to hunch's business model to evolve into a godaddy landing page.

    nothing, but hunch is just another failed attempt to reinvent the search engine or yahoo answers (the later which is useless yet somehow hugely popular)
  • I mentioned this to Phil this morning, but I have a client who has a business in the same space as one of Robinson's recent investments.
  • I could have been a little less Delphic there. The Robinson investment I was alluding to was On Deck.
